As we continue to monitor the rapid developments and impacts of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) within the US and globally, we would like to take a moment to provide you with helpful information regarding access to your storage unit and ways to manage your account using digital tools.

  • Prime Storage Facilities Remain Open β€“ Unless otherwise noted, our facilities are operating under normal office and access hours. In the event there are changes to a particular office or access hours in the coming weeks, we will provide additional information via email and on our website.

  • Access During Closures β€“ Standard unit access will continue to be available in the event of an office closure. During such time, transactions by new and current tenants can be processed on our website or through Prime representatives, who are ready to assist with new rentals, inquiries and account management over the phone.

  • We are Here for You β€“ We understand that during this time you may choose to not visit our offices in person. We will miss seeing you, but understand the need for social distancing. We have a number of contact-free ways you can still rent a unit and manage your account 24/7 or speak to a representative without the need to visit our office.

    • Rent a Unit Online 24/7 β€“ If you, a friend or family member are in need of storage, whether due to sudden college dorm closures or to clear additional space in your house, you can compare unit sizes and rent a unit online in minutes.

    • Remote Account Management β€“ Prime offers the ability to manage your account online via our website, where you can pay your bill, view the status of your account, update your information and more.

    • Prime’s Customer Service Team β€“ Our customer service team remains available to assist you with contact-free rentals as well as assist you with any questions you may have from 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. daily. We also offer after hours support between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. if you are in need of urgent assistance. Please call our customer service line at 888-846-6503 to speak to a representative.

    • Convenient 24/7 Rental Kiosks β€“ Several Prime Storage facilities are now equipped with a 24/7 kiosk that allows you to rent a unit, buy a lock or pay a bill through an automated system. No office visit required. See below for a complete list of Prime Storage rental kiosk locations.

  • Visiting our Facilities β€“ For the health and safety of our staff and customers, we are following the CDC recommendations for social distancing. We ask that customers please stand 6 feet from the counter and wait outside for assistance if staff is busy assisting other customers. We are also actively promoting clean and safe work environments and facilities which includes frequent wiping down of common areas and frequently used surfaces.
